A private passage from the jungles of Ranthambhore to the Changthang plateau of Ladakh — Bengal tigers by day, India's Dark Sky Reserve by night.
Sixteen days across the two ends of Indian wilderness. Begin among the tigers of Ranthambhore at TUTC's luxury tented camp, then fly north to Ladakh — Thiksey monastery, snow-leopard country at Chamba Camp, brown-bear tracking at Drenmo Lodge in Dras, and finally Hanle at 4,500m, where the Indian Astronomical Observatory sits inside India's first Dark Sky Reserve. From the origin of stripes to the origin of starlight.

Days 2
4 → Ranthambhore · Tiger Territory
Drive from Delhi to Ranthambhore and check into TUTC — The Ultimate Travelling Camp. Twice-daily private-jeep safaris in Ranthambhore National Park with an in-house naturalist. Between drives: a guided village and pottery experience, or leisure at the camp with campfire dinners under a sky full of stars.
Day 5
Delhi · Return Before the Mountains
Morning drive back to Delhi. A quiet reset at The Ambassador — an unhurried evening before the onward flight to Ladakh.
Day 6
Leh · Gateway to Changthang
Fly Delhi–Leh. Check into The Grand Dragon Ladakh. Full afternoon of rest and acclimatisation — an essential day before the higher passes.
Days 7
9 → Thiksey · Monastery & Wilderness
Arrive at TUTC's Chamba Camp Thiksey. Morning at the 12th-century Thiksey Monastery, and a curated cycling ride along the Indus. Days 8 & 9: high-altitude wilderness excursions and a guided snow-leopard expedition, followed by curated Ladakhi cuisine in camp.
Days 10
11 → Dras · The Silent Valley
Drive from Thiksey to Dras via Fotu La (4,108m) and Namika La (3,700m) passes. Check into Drenmo Lodge. Full-day expedition into Dras's valleys and brown-bear tracking with local guides, closed with a riverside picnic lunch.
Days 12
13 → Hanle · The Edge of the Cosmos
Drive across the Changthang plateau to Hanle at 4,500m. Check into Hanle Lodge. Evening astro-session under India's first Dark Sky Reserve. Day 13: visit the Indian Astronomical Observatory, and a second night beneath the world's clearest skies.
Day 14
Return to Leh
Long drive back from Hanle to Leh. Final night at The Grand Dragon Ladakh.
Day 15
Delhi · Final Evening
Fly Leh–Delhi. A final evening at The Ambassador — a curated farewell dinner before international departure.
Day 16
Departure
Private transfer to the airport for onward international or domestic flight. From the origin of stripes to the origin of starlight.
