Two national-park safaris paired with the south coast — Sinharaja rainforest, Udawalawe, Yala, and a whale boat off Mirissa.
A wilderness-and-coast circuit for travellers who want both. Walk the UNESCO Sinharaja rainforest with a naturalist, run two private jeep safaris through Udawalawe and Yala, and finish on the southern beaches with Mirissa whale-watching, Kanneliya Forest and Galle Fort.

Day 2
Sinharaja → Udawalawe
Guided nature walk through the UNESCO-listed Sinharaja rainforest — birdwatching and endemic flora & fauna. Afternoon drive to Udawalawe.
Day 3
Udawalawe → Yala
Early morning safari at Udawalawe (elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles). Drive to Yala for an evening safari.
Day 4
Yala → Mirissa
Drive to Mirissa — Coconut Tree Hill, stilt fishermen, and an evening on Mirissa Beach.
Day 5
Mirissa Whale-Watching → Galle
Early morning whale-watching boat from Mirissa (blue whales, sperm whales, dolphins). Drive to Galle.
Day 6
Kanneliya Forest & Galle Fort
Half-day at the Kanneliya rainforest, evening walking tour of the UNESCO Galle Fort.
Day 7
Madu River → Colombo → Airport
Drive to Balapitiya for a Madu River boat safari, then a Colombo city tour and airport drop-off.
